How the ServX application works:

  1. Your device receives a set of tasks from the project scheduling server. The type of task depends on your device's power: for example, the server will not assign tasks that require more RAM than your device has.
  2. Your device downloads executable and input files from the project data server. If a task is updated, the executable files are automatically downloaded to your device. Data is periodically deleted and replaced with new data every 10-14 days.
  3. Next, your device reports the completed tasks to the scheduling server and receives new tasks. In active mode, the device will exchange data with the server every 15 seconds, checking and diagnosing downloaded files and sending results.
  4. The application must remain open on your device for at least 2 hours a day, during which time the maximum computing power will be utilized.
  5. This cycle repeats continuously without your involvement as long as Wi-Fi is connected. If the system detects that Wi-Fi is not connected, you will receive a notification to reconnect.
